The Governing Board of Westcott CE School, with the support of the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education and Buckinghamshire Council, is seeking the views of parents, carers, staff and other stakeholders on the future of Westcott CE School.

The consultation will be running from Wednesday 31^st January 2024 until midnight on Wednesday 13^th March 2024.   Public meetings will be held at the school on Thursday 8^th February at 2.00pm and 6.30pm.

Following the end of this consultation period, the school Governing Board, the ODBE and the Local Authority will meet to review the consultation responses and decide whether or not to proceed and make a formal application to close the school through the publication of a Statutory Notice.

Please note that this consultation document in relation to the proposed closure of Westcott Church of England School contains a minor revision from the version first published on the 31 January 2024. It was quickly brought to our attention by consultees that there was an error within the paper relating to the community provision in the village. The consultation document has therefore been updated and corrected.  We can assure you that the error makes no material difference to the proposal being taken forward and we apologise for any inconvenience or confusion caused by this error.
